As part of our preconstruction service, detailed reporting and scheduling systems allow the project team to anticipate and eliminate potential problems before they cause delays or cost increases, to modify work assignments when necessary, or to locate alternate material sources. The benefit... on-time or accelerated delivery. Based on establishing early project budgets during the design phase, we are able to maintain the budget through design completion. Utilizing staff expertise, we also provide systems analyses, value engineering, and detailed document review/coordination to ensure cost-effective and timely design. We assign a construction project team (Project Executive, Project Manager, and Project Superintendent) during the preconstruction phase to manage scheduling, site planning, constructability and continuity during the construction phase.

During the feasibility stage, High Tech investigates site conditions (soil borings, exploratory demolition, adjacent conditions) to uncover potentially adverse conditions. Prior to commencing design, High Tech can also provide current market pricing and construction schedule information for the envisioned project to determine project feasibility.

In the role of construction manager, High Tech provides a complete range of services to assist during the planning, design, and construction phases.

Our approach as construction manager is to serve as an extension of our client’s organization, complementing their capabilities and representing their interests throughout the duration of the project. As the construction administrator for the owner, we utilize proven management systems and procedures to ensure that project goals are met. Working with the owner and the architect/engineer from the earliest stages of conceptual planning, our construction management personnel help the architect avoid costly design elements. During construction, we maintain a full-time supervisory staff at the jobsite to coordinate and provide direction of the work.

High Tech can provide early project guarantees to assist in fixing the cost and schedule of the project. High Tech is also able to perform the project on an at-risk basis, ensuring that the client’s goals for cost, schedule, and quality are met.
